Tribu, located in Kingston-upon-Thames, London, offers 63 stylish boutique studio apartments under an innovative, hybrid hospitality concept that offers its housemates a coworking space, a rooftop, a cinema, communal kitchen and dining areas.
London, 18 April 2023 – Eurofund Group, the international investment and development company behind numerous successful real estate projects in Europe, has launched Tribu, its first boutique living concept.
Tribu is located in Kingston-upon-Thames, a historic district in South West London, surrounded by large green areas, and just 30 minutes away from the city centre. Eurofund Group’s first hospitality experience, Tribu, offers boutique studios, specially designed for students and professionals seeking more sophisticated way of living, while connecting them with like-minded individuals, who share similar values and interests.
Redefining living space
Stepping in to Tribu, housemates feel at home; the quality and attention to detail are immediately striking. Offering housemates communal areas where they can connect and enjoy time together, the space is curated carefully with decor based on warm tones that come together to create a serene environment. The lower level plays host to a range of different activities: gastronomic exchanges in the designated culinary areas, private soundproof booths in which to study, or watching a movie in the cinema.
Tribu’s creates a lifestyle both for students who want to connect with like-minded, creative individuals, as well as catering to professionals who are looking for a modern way of life beyond the traditional rental spaces available. In addition, the innovative concept is fully equipped with integrated technology, with the Tribu App providing easy access in-house services–including digital keys. The Tribu App also acts as a social network for housemates to participate in social activities, events, and group workshops—connecting the Tribu community. Other smart technology will include integrated sensors throughout the property providing data on occupancy and usage of rooms and energy monitoring, meaning Tribu can operate sustainably and responsively.
Dan Sandford, CEO of Tribu, comments: “Tribu is a cutting-edge concept that provides a very interesting counterpoint to the current housing model for both students and professionals. Our goal is to bring together communities of like-minded people, while offering the highest degree of personalisation and exceptional attention to detail.”
Tribu is the culmination of Eurofund Group’s experience across its broad portfolio, with the opening of a new business area: Living, now underway in the British capital. This comes after the company’s expansion into new markets and its successes in retail. In 2022, the company acquired Silverburn, Glasgow, making it Eurofund Group’s first asset in the United Kingdom, and later in November, it signed another an agreement to acquire Parma Retail with the vision of turning it into Parma Promenade, its first asset in the Italian market.
Bringing Eurofund Group’s hospitality expertise to boutique living
As a lifestyle housing concept, Tribu offers the opportunity to create a holistic unique environment, through a relaxed atmosphere, designed by London interior designers RAD Studio, where warms colours are blended with unique ‘retro’-inspired pieces, all accompanied by an exceptional à-la-carte list of services and technological integration that facilitates housemates’ interactions. The complex also offers a variety of boutique studios, ranging in style and size, depending on housemates’ preferences.
After Eurofund Group’s consolidation in creating successful and award-winning hospitality destinations – such as Ubbo, Portugal and Puerto Venecia, Spain – Tribu’s concept offers a solution to the growing demand for living spaces in London, where housing supply shortages, high interest rates, together with ever-rising home prices continue to push home ownership further out of reach.
Kingston-Upon-Thames is one of the safest and best-connected areas of London, offering good transport links, with nearby train stations and multiple bus routes.
Tribu offers an easy-to-use plug and play model, which can be adapted and customised, according to every housemate’s needs. The tenant experience is enhanced by on-site highly qualified staff, who ensure the happiness, well-being, and safety of the housemates. As in any other project of Eurofund Group, offering an exceptional service is the key to Tribu’s success.
