Eurofund Logistics Capital Partners strengthens its team to continue growing in Spain and Portugal
Following its expansion plans in the Iberian Peninsula, the joint Venture Eurofund Logistics Capital Partners -ELCP- has strengthened its team by incorporating Jaime Velasco as the new Head of Projects and Works for Spain and Portugal, and Maria Fra as Administrative Assistant.
Jaime Velasco, Head of Projects and Works
Jaime Velasco, with 20 years of experience in Real Estate as well as other construction areas, particularly the industrial sector, will be in charge of the integral management of projects, always with the aim of delivering a top-level product to the clients. Graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, he started as project manager for international retail and logistics clients in 2007 for an international consulting firm, and three years later moved to Southeast Asia, where he worked on large industrial and logistics projects. Back in Spain, he has been focusing on developing logistics projects here.
María Fra, new Administrative Assistant
María Fra joined the Eurofund team as Administrative Assistant last month. Graduated in Librarianship and Documentation from the Complutense University, she has more than 5 years of experience in Real Estate, in the Compliance and Regulatory department of International banks and in consultancies as Office Manager and more recently, in intu Spain.

About Eurofund Logistics Capital Partners (ELCP)
ELCP joint venture was set up in February 2017 between Eurofund Group – one of the largest shopping centre developers, managers and investors in Spain, and Logistics Capital Partners, a pan-European Developer and Asset Manager specialized in logistics real estate, with offices in the UK, Spain France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Currently LCP it has 10.2 million sq ft of income producing assets under management, and a secured development pipeline 19 million sq ft of logistics warehouse across 7 countries.
The primary focus of the JV is to combine Eurofund’s local market knowledge, access to technical teams and established relationships with local authorities and retailers with LCP’s expertise in logistics real estate development, asset management and logistic occupier relationships to deliver new logistics warehouses in Spain and Portugal.
ELCP has recently confirmed Pre-let for the largest logistic development in Catalonia. The project has been let to Amazon for a new fulfilment centre. The project, which will be delivered in the second quarter of 2022 and will be ELCP's first logistics development in Spain, will become the benchmark logistics hub in the national territory for the e-commerce multinational and one of the most advanced logistics projects in Europe in terms of environmental impact.
This is ELCP’s first logistics development in Spain, on a site they identified and secured in the municipality of El Far d’Empordà, 40 km North of Girona and 30 km from the French border, in the Industrial Park Logis Emporda. The record project will complete in Q2 2022 and will also be a landmark European project in terms environmental standards, highlighting ELCP’s technical capabilities for site delivery, urban planning modifications, construction delivery, along with key commercial relationships with groups such as Amazon in Spain.
