Once the new cinema opens, after its refurbishments, UBBO to further enhance its position as one of the main leisure destinations in the Portuguese capital.
Lisbon, 10 February 2023 – Eurofund Group, the international real estate investment and development company behind numerous successful projects in continental Europe, announces a new deal with UCI Cinemas, at UBBO in Lisbon. Once the new cinema opens, after its refurbishments, UBBO to further enhance its position as one of the main leisure destinations in the Portuguese capital.
Launching at the end of summer, 2023, UCI Luxe at UBBO’s shopping resort, will boast more than 4,000 sqm, 11 exclusive cinema projection rooms and a total of 981 seats. Each seat will be VIP, reclinable and spacious, with a personal table, and more room between rows.
Its stunning large screens and cutting-edge sound and projection technology will enable a multi-sensory experience.
From arthouse films to blockbusters, the cinema’s program will include a variety of movies, as well as concerts, sports, and live broadcasts.

Andreas also highlighted UBBO’s successful performance: “The shopping resort ended the year on a record-breaking note with an annual increase in footfall of 20 % compared to 2019, having welcomed 18.4 million visitors during 2022. The sales performance was equally spectacular, with a 22% increase compared to previous years.”
